Then There Were Two

Yesterday, Angela Yee broke the internet tweeting that The Breakfast Club would no longer be what it we know it as, today. Her words described the show being “over,” as we know today, which sparked a lot of question what was going on between everyone’s favorite radio crew. However, it seems like everyone is in positive spirits about the news and forthcoming changes.
Angela Yee has been a part of The Breakfast Club for twelve years. She has previous experience with other radio shows, and even has her own podcast. Her breaking news about The Breakfast Club never being the same again was not meant to say that the trio was breaking a part, but actually that Angela was moving on to a new adventure, being her own radio show.
The Breakfast Club did discuss the matter on air. Listeners can view a clip of the discussion on DJ Envy’s Instagram Page. Angela Yee mentioned that after many long years of wanting her own radio show, iHeart Radio approached her with just that opportunity that she had wanted. She stated she will now host her own, daily radio show, still complete her podcast, and will be stepping away from The Breakfast Club. While this role seems to be locked and loaded, she shared she will be with The Breakfast Club for at least one more month while her new show comes together.
Angela Yee is obviously very excited about this new endeavor, and both Charlamagne and DJ Envy appear to be happy for her as well. They have both shared their congrats and words of encouragement across social media. Charlamagne and DJ Envy will continue The Breakfast Club.
Does this change The Breakfast Club for you? Are you tuning into Angela Yee’s new radio show?!
