Adidas just announced a full collection of McDonald’s collaboration shoes, across a variety of player silhouettes. It looks like Tracy McGrady, James Harden, Derrick Rose and Damian Lillard are all down for a Happy Meal, but I hate all of these. The colors are ugly, the details are corny, and it is a walking advertisement for a fast food restaurant, in which you likely do not even eat at.

The Dame 6 is a light and bright green, with a big Golden M logo on the side, with orange details. To me, this looks more like a Nickelodeon shoe, than McDonald’s. Rose’s sneaker has a ketchup detail on the heel, and the tongue has a ketchup splatter with his logo over it, with the laces tied making it look like Mickey Mouse. Harden’s purple and orange sneaker pay recognization to Grimace, the big purple fuzzy thing, and the Hamburglar, whom had orange hair. This one is definitely my favorite, but still I think it is corny. T-Mac comes through with his T-Mac sauce shoe, I’m sorry but these golden sneakers with a red toe, you might as well put on Ronald’s entire clown suite and call it a day.

It’ll be interesting to see how these sell. It is a no from me, though.
