Rumors have spread that Jordan Brand will be releasing a Cactus Jack Air Jordan 3 in 2021. Mock ups displayed above have been shared by SoledBrief. While they were always just meant to be mockups, it is clear this is just someone’s idea of what this sneaker would look like. Maybe that is just always how I feel when I see an unofficially released sneaker, but this does not feel right to me. Of course, when you have the 3s the elephant print is classic. And yes, Travis loves a backwards swoosh. But, the colors aren’t really blending together with the yellow accents, the elephant print is not really elephant print, I am just not seeing it really go with the rest of the collection, which seemed to tie together well, and simple.

Whether or not you agree, Nike has debunked these rumors and have stated this release is not happening. I would never spend a crazy price on a sneaker for Travis Scott, but I do love the 3s and think that Travis and Nike could pull together something special, if they take the hype from this and make something out of it in the future.
