The Air Jordan 1 is a staple, everyones favorite. Sometimes, they can feel a bit too manly, or only work with skinny jeans. Nowadays, I want to wear sneakers with my dresses and skirts, especially now that it is spring. Chunky sneakers work with this so well, but I want to wear my heat shoes, my various pairs of Jordan 1s. I cannot think of a better way to accomplish this ask, than a multi-colored, mixed materials, mid silhouette.

The mid is the perfect height. I personally think the Hi is too high for me if I’m wearing something other than jeans. I’m short, so they’d swallow my ankles and half my calfs. There actually is a Lo version, which is reselling for $250+, but I just do not like the Lo. I love the mid height, the spring colors, and the tiny exposed stitching details. Some people are afraid of so much color, but there is so much you can do with this. You can wear all black, all white, you can pull out one of the colors to work with, or play with accessories to accent your favorite swatch from the silhouette.

A lot of people are comparing these to the Melody Ehsani Air Jordan 1s. They had a crazy color scheme, but with warm colors on one foot, and cool colors on the other. They also had writing on sole like Virgil, and watch faces as shoe tags on the bottom of the lace. I personally love them both. I would say that these ones are a bit more spring-fun-girly-like. The Melody Ehsani’s are going to be more Hypebeast-resell-like. Since I did not get the Melody Ehsani’s, I think I’m going for this pair. Put some color in my wardrobe for once.
