ASICS honestly does some really cool things, that they do not get credit for. Steve Aoki was huge, their technology and color ways are great, they just launched one of the most interesting campaign creatives I have seen in a while for their new Kayano 26, then there is this masterpiece.

Designer brands have been doing collaborations with sneaker brands for quite some time now, but you may have not seen this one coming. ASICS is, I would say, the brand people look at for merely performance trainers, rather than lifestyle. However, Comme des Garçons Shirt comes in and changes your mind completely.

The GEL Lyte is a super comfy technology made infamous from ASICS. This silhouette is a classic through out tennis shoe that every brand has done. Then, you have this amazing rainbow camo print nylon upper with rubber outsole to match. The gray overlaps still make this wearable while there is no way you will not be turning heads in these things.

It seems like ASICS just dropped these out of the blue at Dover Street Market. We got a sneak preview earlier this year that they were dropping at some point. Now, they are available in stores, with minimal sizing left. Of course, you can grab them on Stock X, where they are surprisingly going for slightly under retail in some sizes. I love a designer collab and I think these are a winner for sure.
