Union is already back with Jordan on two new drops, and I must say that I dislike them more than the first. The Union Jordan 4 dropped just a few weeks ago, and I thought they were pretty odd. There was red, blue, white, black, gray, tan and translucent pieces, which was just a mess. I was not a fan of the folded tongue, it just feels uncomfortable on my feet just thinking about it, even though it was purposely built that way. However, now, Union uses the two colorways released on the Jordan 4, with two new Jordan silhouettes.
Union takes their swing at the Jordan Zoom and the Jordan Delta Mid. Taking these wild color way concepts onto two Mids that are already underwhelming is a very interesting choice. If your desire is to be unique, you have a winner. These things literally look like boots made out of toys. They are currently asking for way over retail on Stock X, so I assume they will still sell out. For the love of the hype.
If you take a look at Union’s website, they have a crazy look-book for the Jordan 4. When I say crazy, unique, and toys, this was before I saw that they painted the four models head-to-toe in bold, bright, crazy colors and dressed them up with playful themes and props. You can check it out on the Union x Jordan website here.
