Tyler the Creator is back with a new silhouette, and new color ways, by GOLF x Converse. The Gianno Ox was first released last November. The bulky trail sneaker from the first drop launched in three colorways which all look very trail-shoe-like. They look like you’d wear then on a hike, or perhaps be the ultimate dad shoe, giving the Monarch a colorful run for its money. The color way to drop this weekend, is exactly what I envision when I think of Tyler, the Creator launching a new shoe. Multi-fabric, soft pink with light browns, spring-time ‘90s vibes for sure. Tyler has been loving playing with pinks and soft, muted tones. It really speaks to Tyler as a creative designer, and I really believe this color way will be the hero of the collection.

I also think it is super cool that this is a collaboration with Converse. Tyler has been with the team for a number of years, but this silhouette is nothing like the Chuck Taylor. I think it takes a lot for a brand like Converse or Vans, whom are known so strongly for one silhouette, and then come up with something completely different. This version of the shoe is super wearable and perfect for the spring time. It is a cop for me.
