Kelly Oubre Jr. shares his take on the Converse All Star Pro BB, with the “Soul Collection.” The collection carries one high-top and one low, each with a unique graphic design influenced by Oubre’s interesting personality and style.
The hightop holds a translucent sole, with a purple and blue hazy designed upper. A much more simple take on the low, as a mostly white upper with a water splash graphic treatment just above the midsole.
Though Converse is not the first brand you think about when it comes to basketball sneakers, I think Oubre has something here. Converse is owned by Nike so I feel fine when I say, these All Star Pro sneakers do not look that much different than a KD Nike baseball shoe. Oubre shares his own spin on these with the creative treatments, which I think are both really nice. The colors are not over the top, but just enough to flex on the court. I love the water graphic on the all white, talk about drip too hard.
It does not look like these will resell, but a nice job from the Converse NBA Ambassador, Kelly Oubre Jr.
