The Yeezy basketball shoe is set to release this summer. In 2018, Yeezy sneakers were banned from the NBA, because of their reflective heel, which could be a distraction or danger to others on the court. This new version should adhere to the protocol. The Barium color way features a dark green knit upper, but is mostly black, with a transparent sole.

I really like the look of this shoe. It looks like a basketball shoe I’ve never seen before. It even looks like a hightop chunky sneaker I’ve never seen before. It definitely shouts Yeezy, but it hard to be original nowadays, and I think Kanye succeeded at this, on this one. I’m interested who will wear this shoe in the NBA, if anyone. Will Adidas players be able to wear the Yeezy? Will he sign his own face of Yeezy basketball? Or will he just want kids to buy the shoe and be able to play in them? There should be a performance version, and a lifestyle version to be released, so I’m expecting to see someone perform on court in these before making my final must-have decision.
