New Eminem Album Conspiracies

Grip, Eminem

Grip, Eminem

When there is an Eminem conspiracy theory, we cover it. Especially when we know Marshall has been in the studio cooking up something that it’s time he shares. The last time we heard Eminem, he was featured on his new artist Grip’s debut album with the label. He also had recently teamed up with Nas and EPMD as a part of King’s Disease II. Prior to this, he dropped Killer Remix with Cordae and Jack Harlow, but the last project we’ve received was Music to be Murdered By; the original in January of 2020, and side B in December of 2020. Eminem almost always drops in Q4, and we may be in luck for new music in the near future.

So, the Stans out there have pulled together some hints that suggest Eminem will be dropping a new album on October 1st. After reviewing the evidence, and doing a bit of my own prospecting, my guess would be that some sort of project will drop on October 1st, however, I am thinking a group collaboration project of Shady Records. Maybe even a soundtrack for the new Venom movie, which is also due in theaters on October 1st.

The 20th anniversary of Shady Records was last year, and fans were hoping for something like a Shady XV, however, that idea was quickly dubbed by the label. Allegedly, there was going to be a discography package, but they were unable to execute in time, so scrapped the idea all together. Now, people believe they have good reason to think a new album is dropping on October 1st, and I have a feeling it might be something encompassing the new (and old) squad.

Firstly, where do these hints come from in the first place? The most direct ones came from the Instagram Stories of Fredwreck, record producer tied closely to Eminem. On his story, he shared a sketch of Eminem’s old house, which was used as the album cover of Marshall Mathers LP 2, which lead many to believe that Marshall Mathers LP 3 could be on the way. Another slide showcased a large building with the number “1001,” suggesting that the project would drop on October 1st. On top of this, Skylar Grey, Eminem’s leading female artist, posted in-feed captioning for us to mark our calendars for October 1st. Something is happening, and it has got to be more than just the Venom movie.

Aside from these posts, Eminem has certainly been putting in work himself, and with his label mates. New artist, Grip, just put out his debut album under Shady Records. Eminem and Royce Da 5”9 each had one song on the project, but you know there is more where that came from. Westside Boogie has been playing with our emotions regarding new music. Everyone is coming for Boogie to drop a new album, and it also seems like the time may be near, as he has posted quite a few snippets, which have been shared by the Shady Records page, as well. On top of this, a photo of the two together have gone viral. Boogie was not on Grip’s project, so it could be that the two have new music we are waiting on.

This could be a stretch, but a recent photo has been going around of Eminem, Royce Da 5’9, and Bizarre from D12. The photo was shared for Royce and Bizarre’s birthday, but it was clearly from recent ages. While Eminem and D12 publicly did not have the best break up, Eminem has acknowledged them in recent projects. It would be incredibly cool to see Em bring his old band and his new band together, even if it’s just one representative from each. Not to mention, we know that Dre has been in the studio too. I’ll take the new crew and the old crew any day of the week.

What about outsiders? Eminem has definitely done his research in today’s artists, and completed a number of interesting collabs. Word is, Mozzy’s manager tweeted and deleted, that Mozzy has a song with Eminem and Polo G. Mozzy just dropped his latest album on Friday and the features were not there, so this could be coming on October 1st. I swear to you that this is the collab I’ve been waiting on. Mozzy is the most underrated, and Polo G is one of the few younger aged hip-hop artists that really speak deep into his roots, and educating others. Two real ones, on a track with a legend. I hope it’s true.

So, there are plenty of factors leading to new music within the Shady Records label. But what is it? Marshall Mathers LP 3? A Venmo Soundtrack? A label project? A new single? Whatever it is, I’ll be up til midnight on September 30th waiting for it to drop.
