Tory Lanez is the next artist to get on the wave of NFT. In a recent post, he shared that he sold an NFT for $34,000 and plans to continue to do so with his music, so that he and his fans can “get rich together.” Currently, Tory Lanez looks like he is set to release a complete NFT album this Friday, August 10th. The first track he’s shared from the project, is a freestyle that is meant to ruffle some feathers.

Tory has a lot of baggage currently. He went from getting kicked off of Instagram, to having an elongating beef with Megan Thee Stallion questioning whether he had shot her in the foot. He made more enemies by apparently also taking DaBaby on his side, and now has landed himself a new beef with OG Rapper, Cassidy. In a recent Funk Flex Freestyle Tory Lanez had preformed, Cassidy called him out for stealing his flow and his rhymes, and letting the world know that this was not the first time, either.

While Tory states that he was paying homage to Cassidy, unfortunately Cass was not buying this, and did end up putting out a rap diss track after Tory. We all love a battle, so therefore we have Tory Lanez ‘When It’s Dark Freestyle.’ Tory uses the beat you may remember from Meek Mill’s Dreams Worth More Than Money or originally from A$AP Rocky’s Ghetto Symphony.

For just under four minutes, Tory Lanez completely goes all in, in attempts to end Cassidy. He managed to say his career was over, that he has no credible music, and something about a hotel room with R. Kelly…

I leave Cas' body in that casket his career is in
My prime and your prime, dawg it's no comparison
What you gon' compare, some Smack DVD appearances?
Ding ding ding 15 seconds of fame is up
Was in them hotels with R. Kelly, we should flame you up

While I think Tory did his thing here, I do not think this is the end of Cassidy, it will simply fuel the fire of his comeback, in my opinion.
