The moment you’ve all been waiting for? The day you never expected to come? The fight you do not care at all about? The most watch boxing fight watched across the entire globe? It happened. Jake Paul finally got the opportunity to face Tommy Fury in a boxing ring. And lost.

Jake Paul is known for being a YouTube influencer, and causing lots of trouble. However, in recent years he has looked to take his skills to boxing and prove that he is much more than a YouTuber. Until this past weekend, he has gone undefeated in his matches, though many would say he never fought a “Real Boxer.” The fight against Tommy Fury was long awaited as it had been postponed twice over the past two years.

The Pay Per View action went down last night, and to some’s surprise, the fight went the distance. Eight full rounds, and although Jake Paul appeared to have knocked down Fury, the judges scored the fight in the favor of Fury. Tommy Fury wins the fight in split decision, and doubles his earnings by agreeing to Jake Paul’s bet that if he were to win the fight, he would get double the pay.

Although Jake Paul lost, he has been very humorus on social media, keeping in good spirits because even though he lost, his bank account won. Paul suggests he received thirty million dollars in earnings from the Pay Per View special.
