Super Bowl LVII

Super Bowl LVII was last night and lived up to the hype of being one of the watched events around the world. From the game, the referees, the halftime show and the commercials, it did not disappoint. Here are a few highlights (or low lights) of what went down.

The game itself was neck and neck throughout the vast majority of the game. The Kelce brothers faced off against one another, while mom showed up sporting gear to support them both. Jalen Hurts faced the adversity of his past of being benched in his college Championship game, to having to transfer, to playing an incredible game in the Super Bowl after a 14-3 regular season.

It was Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs who took home the Super Bowl win, but not without some controversies, as well. The game was tied until well into the fourth quarter, when the Eagles got called for a penalty that took the Chiefs to Red Zone territory to ultimately win the game. While many believed the referees should have let the game continue, some did say a penalty is a penalty, and that it was.

No matter who you were cheering to win the game, Rihanna stole the show with her halftime performance. No special guest is needed when you’re Rihanna. No new music needed either (but I mean, we will take it anytime!) Rihanna’s set consisted of her performing from a platform that levitated in center field. Her dancers were incredible in all-white FENTY gear. And, Rihanna herself served looks with a brand new baby bump. A$AP Rocky could be seen on the ground with the largest smile on his face as he watched the mother of his child rock the stage. Truly, and incredible moment to experience.
