Styling the Blazer Mid

8.6.20

The Blazer Mid is classic silhouette. They’ve even added in the term “Vintage” to the full name of the OG sneaker. While always super sleek and clean, there are endless colors and materials to choose from. Hightops are difficult for some, and colors can be tricky as well. Still, these babies can go with just about everything.

The Blazer is the perfect hightop to mix with cute, short dresses, because the upper is just so smooth and sleek. I also had a lot of fun with the colors on this one, which his typically a touchy subject for me. So, whether you’re going for a walk around the neighborhood or your cousins graduation party, your Blazers are there for you.

The Future Is Yours

When you have things to get done, and you’re on a mission, sometimes you rush and look a mess. But, when you look good, you feel good, and you can still look good and be cozy at the same time. An oversized light washed hoodie with some fitted biker shorts and the hightop blazer is the coziest, chill combo. The text on the back of the crewneck just puts your mood into perspective. If things get heated, you have your bowtie scrunchie, and super cute MVTM screen glasses.

Cute, but Graphic

There is so much you can do with the beautiful blue of these blazers. My favorite Eminem graphic tee is black with blue and white graphics, which lends itself quite nicely to the blazer. To keep it cute and fun, tuck in the graphic tee to a button up denim skirt. The boxy bag goes with the big t-shirt vibe, and the scrunchie keeps things cozy. I have worn this look to a day concert in the past, but would wear it to any cute but casual event.

SuperNova

Is there anything better for a Blazer Mid than a pair of skinny jeans? It is iconic, and the white goes perfect with this color way as the blue breaks up the pant from the white swoosh and sole. This mini peplum top is super cute, and can pull off the shoulders, allowing you to play with some fun jewelry. I’ve worn this look to Complex con with some gold sneakers and a gold chocker. Mixing up the sneakers, I’d keep the accessories silver to play with the white. Super cute look for school, lunch, or everyday business.

Plaid Out

This plaid mini dress is form fitting to make anyone look fantastic. When it isn’t time to show off everything, throw on a blazer, with your blazers. A dress, blazer and sneakers are a new trend, and the colors here sit really well with each other. I love the idea of the mini dress with the hightop sneakers. They off balance each other, but also are both very smooth and sleeking fitting, so it works out well. I would wear this look to a dinner somewhere you can dress up without any specific guidelines.

Babydoll

A simple flat lay, but an outfit I wish I could wear every single day. The cut outs and shapes of this dress make it so cute, girly and innocent. Then, the high top kicks just show that you mean business and are super confident in the way you move. Just imagine your fit pick as your twirling your dress and kicking your Blazers into the air by the pond in the woods. Cutest thing in the world. I’ve worn this look to holidays with the family, and could also be worn at a chill brunch.

So Sophisticated

I love a matching suite. A suite set, with shorts, say no more. This set is from Volcom and is so cute. I can dress it up or dress it down, and it is super light and comfortable, which may be surprising compared to other suites. The small pinstripes are navy, so I added this navy crop underneath, to go with the blue on the blazers, as well as the navy handbag. Of course the boxy bag works best with the oversized short and jacket cuts. I’ve worn this look to work, and would wear it honestly anywhere you plan on stunting. With or with out the jacket over your shoulders, the look is super cute, and really nothing anyone could mess with.
