Styling the Jordan 11 Retro

9.10.20

The Jordan 11 Retro is a classic, wether you are rocking the Concords, Breds, or Legend Blues. Of course, there are plenty of spin off colors and special editions. Whenever a Retro comes through specifically for the ladies, I am instantly attracted. The Jordan 11 Retro in a sense is my grail sneaker. Not the first Jordan I ever owned, but the first one I purchased for myself. When the Legend Blues released in 2014, I wanted them so bad. I asked for my birthday and Christmas, but fell short. “You don’t need any more sneakers,” they told me. Well, obviously I used my birthday and Christmas money to buy them. Finally last year, a women’ specific color way to absolutely die for launched. So, let’s style a Retro 11, and let us making sparkling, bedazzled, flashy and head-turning.

Emeralds and Diamonds

Baggy sweats and a crop or a bandeau is a classic look for sneaker girls. Cinched ankles mandatory to show off the sneakers. I love this emerald color with the glitter from the sneakers. It will really say “I dressed like a bum with the intention to look fantastic today.” Of course you need your Starbucks in your custom tall cup and cute glasses to act smart while you are serving looks in chill mode.

Rockstar Lifestyle

With white and sparkly silver, you cannot go wrong with a classic black look. While the bandeau and biker short vibe is super chill and effortless, this look has a sense of high-end fashion and class. If you want to sport it down a bit, throw on this mini backpack and a scrunchy. I would totally wear this look shopping or to lunch in the park.

Cozy and Flashy

Typically I do not mix brands, but how perfect does this PUMA mini backpack go with these sneakers? They are both white based with the silver logo emblem, and I just think it works so well. Especially, with this cozy black romper. Shorts and long sleeves are the coziest outfit as it is, but with this relaxed fit, button up top, neck collar and sweater material, you could not look better while being this comfortable. I would really wear this anywhere. School, work, lunch, functions, you name it!

Strap Into Action

Jumpsuits are one thing, but this is a completely other thing. The Jordan clothing line is absolutely to die for, extremely well made and the dopest pieces I have ever seen. I love the Jordan Brand Jumpsuit with the Jordan sneakers. The extra straps, exposed zipper and netting details feel like it is just extra enough to be the perfect match with these sparkly kicks. You could wear this jumpsuit as is, but a plain white tank underneath will work, or a sparkly bandeau like I have here. To be extra sporty, throw your hair in a pony and put it through your baseball cap that matches your strappy jumpsuit. This look is mandatory for any function you need to show off and be photographed at.

Forever Sweet

So you are going on a date, but you’ll be walking and need to be comfortable. Or you’re like me and you’re not going on a date, you’re going to brunch. Perfect. This mini dress is the cutest thing on earth, and what goes better with floral print than sparkles? I could not think of a better sneaker to put with this dress. The ripples at the bottom pair nicely with the ripple effect of the sparkly pattern pieces of the sneakers. I also like a mid top with a mini dress, feels like it would minimize the length in question. Of course a boxy purse to hold your things, and just some wrist accessories. To die for.

Shine Through

Did you know Abercrombie & Fitch has an occasion apparel section on their website? This stuff is gorgeous, and nice quality. If I were going to a graduation, a communion, or some sort of ceremony, this is my look right here. I am dressing up, and yes I am wearing sneakers, but they are basically jewelry at this point. You are shining through all the other guests at your event. You are killing it. The pants are a great length where they will cover the high top of the sneaker, but show off plenty of the silver on the toe box.
