Styling the Nike Zoom x Off-White Vapor Street

4.2.21

Out of all the Off-White and Nike collaborations, I obviously went with the one that was most wildly out there. The silhouette is cozy as anything, and the added on spikes are intriguing. When you add in bright colors, unique textiles and exaggerated details, it is just everything that I need in a sneaker. Some may say, how the hell would you wear this, and why? Well, I have all the answers. Spring is here, so it is time to put some pep in your step, and some colors in your wardrobe.

Super Match

I am typically not one to mix and match brands, but I am letting it slide this week for some perfect matches. This hoodie is from PUMA’s KIDSUPER collaboration collection. It is a complete, all over painting of different types of people. Basically a walking Picasso. I thought the colors were perfect since the hoodie is mainly dark, cool colors, but some accents of brighter yellow, orange and blue from the apparel the people are wearing. A perfect match for the sneakers! I paired it with a biker gray biker short (black would be fine but gray is more subtle to let the hoodie and sneakers shine). This is my daily wardrobe this summer, so I’m rocking this on any and every occasion possible.

Track Star

Be a runner, be a track star, but make it less toxic. Whether or not you are actually running or working out, athlesuire is in and brands are catching on. Year of Ours is an athletic apparel brand sold at Urban Outfitters and every set is to die for. I love this royal blue set, ribbed texture, and the high waisted V-line of the leggings. I would add on a lighter blue teddy coat to fashion it up, style with any hair accessories, bags or hats, and you are good to go. This set pairs well with the blue of the sneaker’s tongue, and pairs great with yellow. I’m obviously rocking this to whatever errands, training class or dog walking I am doing this summer.

SNKR Head

The SNKR Head tee can be purchased in male or female silhouette on For The SoUle’s shop. I designed this tee, and I designed this vest with old FENTY leggings and FENTY dust bags. A complete rework masterpiece, which I’d like to get more involved and well versed in. I am pairing this with a nice, wide-leg parachute pant. I am thinking of the sporty yet cute vibe. Definitely a photo for the Gram, maybe a museum day or luxury shopping day.

Spring Has Bloom

I am totally playing with extreme opposites this week. I am loving pairing this baggy cargo pant, with these chunky, spiked sneakers. I’d open the ankle zipper so the sneakers can peer through, but give the mysterious sneaker head vibe. The floral details on the sweater pair well with the exposed orange lacing system on the kicks, and of course, the golden details on the pant. I would do a front tuck, and pair with gold accessories. Another Gram look and fit to wear for any daily adventure.

Internationally Known

My second PUMA piece that I am mixing in this week is this bucket hat from their International Games collection. I love it because there are so many crazy colors, and tied in this whole look so well. The sneakers are mainly yellow, with a bit of blue and orange. This two piece set is all one shade of blue, which neutralizes the bright yellow of the sneaker, while the bucket hat ties everyone together to one cohesive look. Plus, buck hats are so in right now. If you are not sure whether or not you can rock it, you can. Trust me. I would love to wear this out to a nice brunch, winery, or something on the water. I am feeling boujee here.

Not So Mello Yellow

Playing with so much color today, I bring you our final look. I think that Urban Outfitters made this dress specifically to be worn with these sneakers. It includes the three main colorways from the sneakers, and they are pretty much a perfect match. I love to make my sneakers “cute” and this dress is the perfect piece to do so. I paired it with this chunky bag, and you can add a denim jacket or accessorize how you please.
