Drake Calls Kylie Jenner A Side Piece

The best part of quarantine has been hearing unreleased music from artists, and listening to their stories behind the track. Artists have used Instagram Live battles and concerts, to go back deep into their catalog, show off their greatest hits, and remind us of the better days. Though Drake has been using quarantine to tease a number of new tracks, he is defending himself after what people heard on Wednesday night on the NightOwlSound Instagram Live.
Night Owl Sound is the official DJ of OVO. The DJ, whose name is Mark, was playing songs live off of the Drake and Future catalog. While Drake teased plenty of songs from ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes,’ and Future just dropped ‘High Off Life’, any ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ fans can only hope this means we’ll get a sequel to this project soon. It is, after all, quite the interesting time to be alive.
Mark played a song, that referenced Drake calling Kylie Jenner a side piece. He said that he has plenty of Kylie’s, and Future backed him up with the adlibs.
"Yeah, I'm a hater to society/Real s**t, Kylie Jenner that's a side piece/Yeah, I got 20 mutha f***in' Kylies,"
Shortly after, Drake shared an Instagram story apologizing. He mentioned this track was from three years ago, and was instantly scrapped because they knew it was disrespectful, and Drake did not want to hurt his friend’s feelings.
This is not the first time this song leaked. We heard it two years ago when Future was playing snippets of different tracks on social. I guess it is getting out of hand now, that Drake explicitly hears himself calling Kylie the sidepiece. I am not sure that we needed a second apology, but that is just Drake for you. A rude boy, with a nice boy cover up.
I like Drake, but I am definitely not his biggest fan. Some songs, I am not into at all. For example, I think the ‘Toosie Slide’ is weird and meant for kids on Tik Tok. More than anything, he is a business man that knows how to adapt to different situations. During his Rap Radar review, he was rude. He spoke on mending the beef with Meek Mill, then went on talking like he was the man, he won the rap battle, all this talk, after just making amends. The way he answered questions and ordered more wine, just did not sit very well with me. It is interesting to me that Drake wrote and recorded this whole song, and now he regrets it so much. Well people, this is what he felt at some point, clearly. Maybe it was some heartbroken revenge. At this point, we might as well just get the whole track! I know I want to hear what else went down.
