Meek Mill Back Trending
8.1.23
There was a point in time when Meek Mill was trending for something different everyday. He was dubbed the funniest (maybe goofiest) rapper, with some questioning if he was even human. For things like, falling down his steps in the winter, having the worst dive into the pool of all time, and legs that look like french fries, even next to french fries. This past week, Meek is trending again, for several reasons.
Last week, Gillie Fest took place, which was supposed to be a music event to celebrate Gillie Da King’s birthday, which also ended up as a celebration of life, for his late son. Within the event, Meek Mill amongst many others performed at the event. Meek had done interviews with Million Dollaz Worth of Game in the past, and it was cool to see him perform at something like this for his friend. However, he first went viral for literally knocking Gillie out of a deep think on stage and scaring him.
Gillie posted Meek Mill performing his single, We Ball, and Gillie was vibing with his eyes closed and arms in the air. He mentioned he was thinking about his son, vibing out to his song, when Meek came over and gave him a big slap on the stomach while he was performing, then dapped him up. Both parties are laughing about the situation, but some may laugh at Meek and say hey man, read the room!
The event seemed like it was a great time for all those who attended, and it continued that way throughout the night. Meek is also going viral for loosing a game of dice to Finesse2Tymes’ son, and the clap back he sent Meek after doing so. Meek shared with his followers a photo of himself and Finesse2Tymes, and he wrote “Finesse2Tymes son hit me for a band in dice and said “I used to pray for times like this” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 he gone be a problem lol.” Obviously, the quote being from one of Meek Mill’s most legendary hits. But come on Meek, we cannot be loosing money like this and having our own lyrics used against us!
Finally, there is a six minute video of Meek Mill, Sauce Walka, and G Herbo freestyling, allegedly at 3AM that night. Meek freestyled over the Put In On the Floor beat, then himself and the others took turns over something more light. Each were feeling themselves for sharing rhymes off the top, but Meek certainly took over as he did not want to quit.
Sauce Walka just dropped a new single and music video for song, Only Fans, which has 175,000 views in less than a day. G Herbo just dropped an album two months ago, and remains consistent dropping new music. Now that Meek is trending again and showing a lot of interest in his catalog, is it time for a new Meek Mill album?
