The Air Jordan 1 High OG is certainly a classic. Though sometimes, a hightop sneaker may be difficult to rock. Whether it’s summer time or you cannot find the right pants and look, hightop sneakers are not for everyone. However, every sneaker fan or sneaker head is bound to have these in your collection. They are super sleek, with endless colors ways. I found the perfect pair for the ladies this summer.

Lace Up

If we are breaking on the Air Jordan 1 for this week’s sneaker of the week, of course the For The SoUle Lace Up tee was coming out to play. While it may just be a cute cropped tee, there is so much you can do with it to style it in unique ways. Here I have it as a top layer to a jumpsuit with tank top straps. The jumpsuit is fitted, so the tee will lay loosely over it, for a comfortable but sexy look. Throwing on your high tops will balance off the layering, and of course accessorize per the occasion.

From the Courts to the Streets

We are well representing the heritage of the Air Jordan 1 this week, by sporting this purple Mitchell and Ness Charlotte Hornets crewneck with these babies. Obviously the color way could not be more perfect. I would sport these with some loose, distressed denim to spice it up, but keep it casual. Wear this look any game day, barbecues, or rainy day outings.

Boss Up

Another team, but a completely different look. Hightops with cargo pants that synch at the ankle are everything, especially when they are gray camo. I pair these with my shimmering Lakers rose gold jersey. I personally would tuck in the jersey

Ladies Night Out

My favorite look for a ladies night out. Highwaisted jeans and a bodysuit to die for. Spice it up of course with a pair of high top kicks that look way better than the guy next to you trying to get you and the girls a drink (LOL). While the outfit could be super dressed up on occasion, I specifically chose the two pieces which are super stretchy and comfortable, so why not rock with your newest pair of clean kicks this summer?

Or wherever you are headed, do not forget that we wear cute dresses and jumpsuits with sneakers, too. Of course the pairing is perfect by color choice. The pant legs are slightly wide so will sit over the hightop of the sneaker, but will not quite hit the floor. This is perfect for a lunch in the city or some sort of event, where you’ll be walking around and the breeze will show off your kicks and everyone will then know the deal.

For Those Chilly, Fancy Nights Out

Short dress can work with high tops, of course. Especially when they’re both as clean and fresh as this duo. The dress is a sweater material, and the top layer is soft, almost like the lining of a jacket. It is nice and smooth, which felt right with the smooth pebbled leather from the kicks. The shimmery purple kind of off-sets the rugged ribs of the sweater dress. They are both clean with the most simple addition of bold color, making this look perfect for a fancy night out, wherever you may be headed.
