Styling the PUMA Pulsar Sneaker

12.24.20

Charlotte Olympia is an interesting fashion designer. She loves cats, and uses them, along with other animals in her designs. If you have seen the flats with the cat face, or a fish heel, it would be Charlotte Olympia, without a doubt. She has recently collaborated with PUMA, and came up with one of my favorite sneakers I own, the Pulsar silhouette.

The sneaker is maroon, with blush tones. White with gold details. Charlotte’s signature is embossed in gold on the heel, to match the gold laces. One of her notorious symbols, the spider web, appears at the side of the toe box. The sneakers are chunky, without being overly wide. Overall, super unique but not too difficult to work with. Here are a few ways to dress up the PUMA x Charlotte Olympia Pulsar sneaker.

Shine Through

What may be difficult to see here, is the golden shimmer on the sneakers’ laces. This would go perfect with the shimmer bandeau in this look, that is worn underneath a completely sheer dress. Throw on some high waisted leggings, and this is an entire look to help you shine through any event or occasion. I would rock this look to a dinner, a bar or wherever you can show off your latest, epic fit.

Golden Hour

This mustard shiny tank is the perfect fit to pull out the golden details of the sneakers. With the flared pants, you can rock as high wasted or regular length, while giving plenty of opportunity for the sneakers to shine through as you walk and allow the air to blow through. This is a bit of a fancier look that can be enhanced by jewelry and accessories, for any dinner party little event.

Straight Up

This outfit brings the most swag potential there ever could be. The burnt orange brownish color of the overalls pairs itself well with the golden accents of the sneakers. Keep the other pieces neutral white tones, for an overall delightful color block. This look is baddass and extraordinary from any causal occasion, and reason to take the ultimate fit pic.

Class Act

A good color blocking comes into play with this silky brown, button-up jumpsuit. This, with the creamy white jacket, seems to pair itself well with the maroon and blush toned sneaker. It will give the look a sense of luxury streetwear, and tell everyone watching that you mean business. This look can be worn to any event or occasion where you need to serve looks.

Mock Cocktail Hour

The classic dress down the dress. This ankle length maroon dress has a mock neck which gives the idea of a turtleneck, while still including a v-cut neckline. The seems at the bottom of the dress include a small slit on each side, so that your kicks can easily shine through. This is the perfect way to dress down a dress that may be borderline to fancy, and can be accessorized in many ways.

Rosey Vibes

My favorite sweater ever is a perfect match for these sneakers. The sweater is a super chunky knit with a turtleneck and puffy sleeves. The oversized vibes of the sweater is perfect for the chunky sneaker, itself. I would pair it with white jeans which will pull together the entire look of the white sole and maroon upper. You can continue to accessorize with a maroon scrunchy and some gold jewelry to match the gold details of the sneakers. I would wear this look to a dinner or formal event where you need to be cute, yet professional.
