The Game Drink Champs

The Game is the latest talent to partake in the trending podcast, Drink Champs, and he surely came to take the crown. Trending in the Top 5 with almost two million videos in two days, The Game’s four hour long interview has the industry in a whirlwind, from content, to how much he can really drink.

While the concept of Drink Champs is an interview while having some nice drinks, The Game took it as an interview to being the Champion of drinking. He not only drank what everyone brought to the show, but he showed up with his own tequila as well. And what does drinking do to you during a long conversation? Well, it entices you to share all the information you may have been shy about speaking on previously.

Not that The Game is one to hold back at any state of mind, but he had a lot to share throughout his four hour interview with NORE and team. It had been a trending topic for a few days now that The Game suggested Kanye West had done more for him in the past two weeks than Dr. Dre has in his entire life. This of course would seem extreme, and would be interesting for The Game to revisit the comment in a few months or a year and see if he still feels the same.

Kanye West and The Game have been spending a bit of time together recently, as Ye joined Game on his latest single, Eazy. Game was also a performer at the Donda 2 listening party. These are all very fresh, and Game quoted Ye saying that Ye has been inspired by The Game. Where Game may be feeling salty towards Dr. Dre, is that the Super Bowl Half Time Show was spoken about in detail, and is does appear that The Game may have been a bit upset that he did not receive the call to partake, though he understands why.

Back in the Aftermath days, Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent and The Game were all on top of the world. Great friends, and musicians that could not be topped. When 50 Cent showed up to the Super Bowl Half Time Show unannounced, many had asked where The Game’s surprise appearance was, but it did not come. Game mentioned he never received a phone call about it, but knew that it was Jay-Z that put together the appearance list, and needed to do so in a safe manner that would cause him to be left out because of affiliations outside of the music world.

Feelings could be interfering currently when it comes to who did more for The Game between someone he worked with for many years, versus a few weeks. However, he did acknowledge the fact that 50 Cent was the one out of the crew who did the most for The Game’s success during that time. And how does he feel about Eminem? It is clear the respect is there, but claims he is the successor when it comes to being the better artist, and has no issue stepping in a Verzuz battle with Eminem.

I used to think Eminem was better than me. He not. He not. He’s not.

The Game did say there is no man who he would ever admit to being better than him, but he seems fully prepared to step into a Verzuz with Eminem, or anyone who comes for him with this idea.

When asked if The Game would go on tour with the Super Bowl crew, he said “if the bag was right.” Could this be an Aftermath Reunion? Who would win in a Verzuz battle?

The Game does plan to release a new album in the near future, so a tour could be a good luck for promotion. G Herbo has previously dubbed this upcoming album, “the hardest album of 2022.”
